The insider also acquired 3,034,393 Warrants with an exercise price of for $0.85, for a period of two years. This represents a $3,701,960 net investment into the company's shares and an account share holdings change of greater than 100%.

Canada Strategic and Matamec have closed a business combination by way of the plan of arrangement to create a new gold exploration company whose activities will be focused on the James Bay region. The company will be called Quebec Precious Metals Corporation.
