With Bitcoin trading sideways above $60k, a bunch of altcoins including Solana, Ethereum and Polkadot have run up to make new all time highs, with some experts calling for the start of altcoin season. Alt season is when altcoins (coins that are not Bitcoin) out-perform Bitcoin. But Bitcoin appears to still be the apple of New York City mayor-elect Eric Adam’s eye, who wants to take his next few paychecks in Bitcoin, along with Miami’s mayor Francis Suarez.
