What is Insider Commitment?
INK measures insider commitment by looking at the amount of common shares company officers and directors hold on a beneficial basis as reported via SEDI or the SEC. INK also looks at the amount of recent buying or selling they are doing with their shares. The more stock that these key insiders own, the higher the greater the insider commitment. INK ranks the level of insider commitment for most stocks in the Canadian and US markets. We use this data as part of our INK Edge V.I.P. outlook process that ranks stocks on value, insider commitment and price momentum. These outlook rankings drive the rules-based stock selection process for the INK Canadian Insider (CIN) Index. For more background on how we calculate insider commitment, please visit the INK CIN Index methodology page: https://index.inkresearch.com/method.php
