    INK measures insider commitment by looking at the amount of common shares company officers and directors hold on a beneficial basis as reported via SEDI or the SEC. INK also looks at the amount of recent buying or selling they are doing with their shares. The more stock that these key insiders own, the higher the greater the insider commitment. INK ranks the level of insider commitment for most stocks in the Canadian and US markets. We use this data as part of our INK Edge V.I.P. outlook process that ranks stocks on value, insider commitment and price momentum. These outlook rankings drive the rules-based stock selection process for the INK Canadian Insider (CIN) Index.     A commitment statement gives the chance for a company to tell their value proposition to our users for free. Issuers can submit commitment statements and videos to CanadianInsider.com for free. There is a 75-word limit. Commitment Statements can focus on whatever a company wants. It can describe the firm’s broad strategy or it can be project or product specific.   7. If I sign up for a Canadian Insider Captain's account, is there a charge or a catch?

    There is no cost to set up a basic Canadian Insider Captain’s account to set up a Commitment Statement. Because basic accounts are free, you will see ads on our website to help support the website’s operation. You will also need to give us your consent to send you electronic commercial messages such as email from our sponsor. If you do not want to see ads or receive commercial email, you can sign up for an Ad-free account for a modest annual fee.

  8. Does INK Research accept payment for stock coverage?
